Goal Tracker — Free Online Goal Setting & Progress Tracking Tool

Most goal-setting frameworks fail because they focus on the goal and ignore the key results. OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) were popularized by Intel and Google precisely because they link ambitious objectives to measurable outcomes. But most people never actually implement this system — they just write a list of resolutions and forget them by January.

This goal tracker implements the OKR framework in a clean, fast, entirely client-side tool.

The Problem with Goal Setting

Research shows that only about 12% of people achieve their goals. The reasons are well-documented:

  1. Vague goals: "Get fit" is not measurable. "Run 5K three times per week" is.
  2. No tracking: Without measuring progress, you can't course-correct.
  3. No key results: Goals without milestones are just wishes.
  4. No review: Weekly/monthly review is what separates achievers from dreamers.

The Solution: OKR Framework

Objective — What you want to achieve (qualitative) Key Results — How you'll measure progress (quantitative)

Example: - Objective: Learn Python in 3 months - KR1: Complete 60 hours of coursework (target: 60, current: 0) - KR2: Build 3 projects (target: 3, current: 0) - KR3: Contribute to 1 open source project (target: 1, current: 0)
